The headoffice, research & development and manufacturing of the German company Electronic Wood Systems is based in Hameln (near Hanover). The company operates internationally and cooperates with worldwide partners. The scope of supply includes measuring systems for the wood panel industry and spark extinguishing systems. Online systems measure moisture, area weight, thickness, delaminations, weight and dimensions of finished boards. Laboratory systems measure density profile of wood panel samples and moisture of wood chips and/or fibres.

Board Weight Scales measures not only the weight but also the weight distribution of finished boards.

New non-contact Board Weight Scales use x-ray technology. It measures not only the weight of a finished board but also the distribution of the weight cross and lengthwise. High accuracy also on very thin board production. Only a small gap of 300mm in the production line is required.

Spark Extiguishing Systems from Electronic Wood Systems use a new nozzle using less water with maintaining the high effectiveness for spark extiguishing. various re-designs reduce installation cost.
